Curriculum

The 4/5-year-old and 3-year-old preschool programs will be aligned with the Arizona Department of Education’s Early Learning Standards:

In the 4/5-year-old program, children will participate in primary language arts (Spalding), math (Saxon Math K), science, music, art, and physical education through hands-on discovery and other age-appropriate activities.
Children in the 3-year-old preschool program will participate in pre-academic skills such as pre-reading and pre-math via play, exploration and discovery.

Lunch and Snacks

Included in full-day tuition are a morning snack and lunch (delivered from the school cafeteria and eaten in students’ preschool classrooms). Breakfast, provided at no additional charge, will be offered from 7:30 to 8 a.m. in the preschool classrooms.

Parents of full-day students may also send their children to preschool with a packed breakfast, lunch and/or snack. Please note, Legacy Traditional Preschool is not an allergy-free school or a nut-free school.
