Academic Achievements

Parent demand for a rigorous, well-rounded, back-to-basics K-8 education that integrates 21st-century technology continues to be a driver of campus growth. In 2019, Legacy opened two new campuses in the fast-growing communities of Mesa, Arizona (East Mesa campus) and Henderson, Nevada (Cadence campus). The network also opened a new Legacy Traditional School in the Phoenix metro area. Altogether, this brought the number of K-8 students attending a Legacy school to 18,563.

We are also proud to share the following:

  • Legacy Traditional Schools received a combined $2,865,773 in results-based funding based on student performance on the 2018-19 AzMERIT statewide achievement test.
  • The junior high at Legacy Traditional Schools’ Cadence campus in Henderson, Nevada, received a 5-star rating from the Nevada Department of Education, the education department’s highest mark.
